About Us

Melens is a private business enterprise operating in the manufacturing sector. It was established by two shareholders in 2004 in accordance with the commercial code of Ethiopia with an authorized startup capital of Birr 7,500,000 (seven million and five hundred thousand Birr). Under the founding shareholders, the company had been manufacturing and marketing tissue paper products until it was sold in whole to new joint owners, Tamrin Private Limited Company and Ato Tesfaye Gebregiorgis. Under the new ownership, the company is undergoing expansion and upgrading after a feasibility study has been conducted to that effect. When the expansion and upgrading project is finalized, the company will commence the operations of manufacturing, distributing and selling sanitary and packaging paper products.
