Core Banking System Administrator

Job Requirement

Responsibilities:

• Implementation, configuration, and maintenance of core banking software and hardware.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the core banking system.
• Providing technical support to end-users and ensuring smooth system operation.
• Performing system upgrades, patches, and updates.
• Developing and maintaining system documentation and procedures.
• Monitoring system performance and optimizing for efficiency.
• Collaborating with IT teams and other departments to ensure integration with other systems.
• Training and orientation of other staffs.
• Adhering to security standards and best practices to protect sensitive data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience of which 3-5 years in managerial position in core banking system administration.
• Strong knowledge of core banking software (e.g., Temenos, Oracle FLEXCUBE, Infosys Finacle).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Java,Python, PowerShell).
• Experience with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in core banking systems or related technologies.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
