About Us
The Construction Contractors Association of Ethiopia (CCAE) is a Business Membership Organization (BMO) established by in October 1991.
CCAE in addition to its major role as a construction policy advocator for its esteemed members; it is also working on the overall development & advancement of the construction industry partnering with the relevant stakeholders.
The construction industry of our country is challenged by several factors, among which the availability of well trained & skilled workers is one of the major ones. Graduates of the Technical & Vocational Education Training (TVET) Colleges are available in the market; though there is a big gap of meeting the real skill & competence demands of the construction sector. In order to narrow the skill & competence gap of these TVET graduates and thereby increase their employability, CCAE partnering with GIZ – Ethiopia is going to implement a project called Industry Wide Training (IWT) Center.
