About Us
Ethiopian Women with Disabilities National Association (EWDNA) is a non-profit organization based in Addis Ababa with 9 regional branches. It was established in on 2002 with 7 women with disabilities and one non-disabled women. EWDNA advocate their right of women to equal opportunity and raising awareness about the value of women with different ability. .
EWDNA is seeking to fill the following three vacant posts for its project with Woman kind worldwide. This is a 5 -year contract to support activities under a project named
“Advancing Women’s Engagement: Strengthening Opportunities to Mobilize for Equality (AWESOME)”. This project will contribute to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women. It will contribute to the following Power of Women specific objectives: i) prevention and elimination of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) against women and girls and ii) strengthening women’s leadership and women’s participation in decision-making.
