Families living in extreme poverty, in inhumane conditions, wanting to help on “the road to a better future” was the driving force behind the founding of Finado.
Since the start of the activities in 1996 and the foundation of the non-profit association in 1998, FINADO has remained faithful to the principles and purpose as stated in its statutes. The functioning of the organization is 100 percent based on voluntary work.
What is Finado’s main purpose?
Together with the local partner organization, Finado wants to help structurally improve the living conditions of extremely poor families by setting up sustainable projects. Fighting diseases by organizing water and sanitation. Access to education for underprivileged children by setting up school and nutrition projects. Sensitizing activities in North and South. Contributing to achieving the SDGs.
