About Us
The Ethiopian Beverage Industry comprises Bottled water manufacturers, soft drink factories, breweries, wineries, distilleries, and juice producers. The Ethiopian Beverage Alliance for Water (EBAW) will be a pioneering initiative to be formed by industry players in the beverage sub-sector and those not-for-profit organizations, willing to expend resources, energy, and finance around sustainable water resources management. The overall contribution of EBAW will be to bring about meaningful change in water use efficiency and water quality in the beverage industry and communities with which industry members work closely.
The Ethiopian Bottled water, Soft Drinks, Fruits and Vegtables Processing Manufacturing Industry Association (EBSFMIA), as a founding partner in the establishment EBAW, is the focal organization in the endeavor to form EBAW. EBSFMIA, legally established in 2018, is an industry association comprising most beverage manufacturers as members. The mission of EBSFMIA is serving as a collective voice for its members, and playing an active role in the coordination of effort to promote the development of the beverage industry in general.
